#EdenGivesBack: Parma Animal Shelter

The Parma Animal Shelter needs help.

Beck says: Reading the news a few days ago, I stumbled across a story that made me very upset. In my local area animal control raided a house.

Inside they found 200 birds, 30 dogs, 6 cats, 50 quails, and some rabbits too. All in all they had a total of over 300 animals. These animals were living in their own waste and covered in fleas. The house was beyond liveable conditions. These animals have been removed from the house. And now are being taken care of at the local animal shelter. But like most, they are over crowded. They run mostly on donations and volunteers. An already packed house is now even more over ran. Currently they can’t take in anymore animals or put any up for adoption until legal matters are handled. They are asking for donations so they can get cleaning supplies and other things to properly care for all these animals.

Read more to find out how to make a donation that costs you nothing but EdenPoints. We’re accepting points donations, which we will then convert into cash, through June 27th.

  1. Kudos to EF for giving back! We just adopted a therapy dog for hubby and couldn’t be happier! More people should utilize shelters and not breeders!

  2. I love the give back program that y’all have going on here. Like Bradwell, I adopted a shih poo (shitzu poodle mix) from the dog pound we have up here.
