I have had more fun this Christmas season than I have had in a long time. I mean, Christmas is always fun for me. I love the decorations and sights and smells and family time. But, I’ve always wished I had the money to do a huge shopping trip for charity. This year, I finally got to do that and it’s all thanks to the fabulous community at EdenFantasys and the wonderful Eden Gives Back program.
I was so excited when I got the news from Sam that I could be one of the Eden community volunteers and that I could go shopping for a charity of my choice in my community. Of course, I had to find a charity and get the official go ahead from EdenFantasys. I had a few false starts because a couple of the charities I wanted to buy for had deadlines that were before the end of the collection time for Eden Gives Back. But, I finally found my charity to buy for in the Salvation Army Angel Tree and toy drive. After I selected the two little angels off the Salvation Army Angel Tree, all I had to do was wait for the Eden Gives Back fund drive to wrap up.
Oh my God, y’all! I already knew the community at EdenFantasys was a kick ass group of people, but your generosity blew me away. You made sure this was a very Merry Christmas for a lot of people this year. Since I was shopping for two little one yr olds from the Angel Tree, I headed over to Buy Buy Baby. The local manager made sure your money spread a little further because she gave me the twins discount. Your generosity combined with her Christmas cheer meant I was able to completely outfit these two beaustiful angels. I bought each little girl the same thing except I had to vary the shoes, boots, and onesies colors because the store didn’t have duplicates. Do me a favor and take a quick look at the slideshow below and see what y’all bought. I only included one picture of each item except when I had to buy a different color.

After I finished shopping for clothes, I headed over to the local Target and went toy shopping. Now, the toys y’all bought don’t necessarily go to the angels you bought clothes for. Thanks to some phenomenal deals Target had going, I was able to fill my shopping cart with toys for the Salvation Army toy drive. Once again, your amazing generosity meant I had a good amount of money to work with and, in order to avoid sensory overload, I grabbed two of each item (except for the little trucks and I got 4 of them). Take a look at the goodies that helped fill Santa’s Sleigh thanks to y’all…

Thamks a million y’all for helping me fulfill one of my Christmas wishes by helping out locally. Not only did you make Christmas a lot better for two little girls and their families but you made my Christmas a million times better as well.
